Joao Felix Secures Loan Move to AC Milan in Quick-Fire Deal with Chelsea

N egotiations surrounding Joao Felix have progressed rapidly, with AC Milan finalizing a deal with Chelsea in the past few minutes, according to reports.

Felix was heavily linked with a move at the start of January, but Chelsea's stringent loan conditions initially made the transfer appear challenging. Talks seemed to stall until recent days when discussions gained momentum.

Sources suggest Felix was eager to join Milan, motivated by the prospect of working under Sergio Conceição. This desire, coupled with Chelsea’s increased flexibility in negotiations, paved the way for an agreement.

The deal, confirmed by transfer expert Fabrizio Romano, is a straight loan with no purchase option. Despite having already made significant investments in another attacker this transfer window, Milan has secured Felix’s services. The Rossoneri will cover his full salary, with the total cost of the six-month loan exceeding €5 million.

This swift agreement highlights Milan's strategic moves in the winter transfer window as they bolster their attacking options.
