M oroccan international Hakim Ziyech has reportedly reached a verbal agreement to join Qatari club Al Duhail following his spell at Galatasaray.
Ziyech, who joined the Turkish side from Chelsea on a free transfer last year, was under contract until June 2025. The playmaker initially made a name for himself at Ajax before moving to Chelsea in 2020 for €40 million, with his peak market value reaching €50 million. However, his current valuation has dropped to around €5 million.
The 31-year-old began his career in the Netherlands, playing for Heerenveen and Twente before his move to Ajax. While he represented the Dutch national team at youth levels, Ziyech has been a key figure for Morocco’s senior team since 2015.
His transfer to Al Duhail marks the next chapter in his career as he prepares for a new challenge in Qatar.
