L egendary singer Diana Ross has arrived in Lagos for the highly anticipated THISDAY Awards, which will commemorate the newspaper’s remarkable three decades in the industry. The event is set to take place on Monday at the prestigious Eko Hotel and Suites, Victoria Island.
The red carpet for the awards ceremony is scheduled to begin at 5 pm.
This marks the second time Diana Ross will headline the THISDAY Awards. She first graced the event in 2007, where she performed at the Muson Centre during the 12th edition of the awards.
The event will honor some of Nigeria's most resilient individuals and institutions, recognizing excellence in various fields. The awards will cover several categories, including 'Titans of The Year,' 'Brand of the Year,' 'Government Agency of the Year,' 'Investor of the Year,' and 'Young Global Leaders of the Year,' among others.
The ceremony, aptly themed "When the Going Gets Tough… the Tough Gets Rewarded," promises to be a celebration of achievement and perseverance.
