Dr. Sam Amadi Blames INEC and Judiciary for Electoral Failures

D r. Sam Amadi has launched a scathing critique of Nigeria’s electoral system, accusing the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) and the judiciary of failing to ensure credible elections. In a recent statement, Amadi claimed that bribes to INEC and the judiciary, along with the commandeering of security forces, are central to the failure of elections.

“I hold INEC responsible and I hold the judiciary responsible for the failure of elections,” Amadi said. He criticized the systemic issues within these institutions, suggesting that corruption and manipulation have undermined the electoral process.

Amadi’s remarks come amid ongoing concerns about electoral integrity and the effectiveness of democratic institutions in Nigeria. His comments underscore growing frustration with the perceived lack of transparency and accountability in the country’s electoral system.
