J ournalist and activist Omoyele Sowore has made serious allegations against the Lagos State Government, claiming they are attempting to bribe protest leaders to cease their activities. According to Sowore, the government is inviting these leaders to the government house with the intention of stopping the ongoing protests.
Sowore shared a text message that allegedly reads:
“Dear Comrade, you have been specifically invited to a consultative meeting slated for Friday, 26th July at the Lagos House, Ikeja by 4:30.”
These allegations have sparked further controversy and discussion regarding the integrity and transparency of government dealings with civil movements.
