C hinedu Ani Emmanuel, popularly known as Nedu, has announced his departure from The Honest Bunch podcast following a series of allegations and online controversies. The renowned on-air personality, comedian, actor, presenter, and events compere made the announcement via his Instagram page, citing personal reasons and the need to protect the integrity of the show.

The controversy began when comedian and Big Brother Naija alumnus DeeOne accused social media personality VeryDarkMan of engaging in homosexual activities in exchange for money before achieving fame. The claims were made during an episode of The Honest Bunch podcast, where Nedu was a co-host.

In response, VeryDarkMan launched a series of attacks against Nedu, accusing him of enabling DeeOne by giving him a platform to make such allegations. The situation escalated further when VeryDarkMan allegedly leaked private conversations between himself and Nedu, where Nedu reportedly claimed to have slept with numerous women and even mentioned names.
