T he family drama surrounding Nigerian music icon Innocent "2Baba" Idibia has taken a new turn, with his mother, Rose Idibia, publicly pleading with his fiancée, Natasha Osawaru, to “free” her son.
In a viral video, Mrs. Idibia accused Natasha—who is the granddaughter of billionaire philanthropist Gabriel Igbinedion—of placing "beads" on 2Baba’s hands and neck, implying he is under a form of spiritual influence.
“He is not in his right senses,” she declared, urging Nigerians, especially mothers, to intervene and demand that Natasha release him. The video was shared by 2Baba’s brothers, Hyacinth and Charles Idibia, on Instagram.
Family Petitions DSS Over 2Baba’s ‘Disappearance’
In the latest development, the Idibia family has filed a petition with the Department of State Services (DSS), requesting intervention over what they describe as the “disappearance” of their son.
